I don't know how it would hold up, but if it has an actual, functional sawback then that is a definite plus to me. I do wonder about the sheath, since that sawback looks pretty "sheath aggressive".

Without a guard on it I could see a messy time if the teeth hang up or bind while sawing. Ouch...

it looks like a good tool. i may buy one. I was thinking, it's two tools in one. No need to have a saw and a chopping tool with me, if i have this. Your friend at thew post, Donald S.
