Anybody use a .25-06 for a deer rifle?

The .25 is a fine deer and pronghorn rifle. A little light on elk, but can be done if you get out west. I've killed them with a .243, just would not recommend it or the .25 if elk are the primary target of the hunt. Really depends on if you're looking for a deer rifle for home, in which case the .25/06 is a great choice, or if you're looking for a potential 'out-west' rifle. In that case, if there is the potential for bigger game than deer, IMO a larger caliber would be a better choice. Good luck BTW.

The 25-06 is a really good deer gun. My favorite though is my new 7mm-08 Browning A-Bolt with 3x9 Redfield scope and 139 gr. Superformance ammo. DEADLY combo !
