Anybody use the Cold Steel Finn Bear or Finn Wolf?

I like hard use knives and the Finn Bear is one. I have 2 of them and they have withstood a lot of abuse. The handles on mine and others I have seen are just fine under duress. These knives are cheap and easily worth several times their purchase price.
I don't know where the video is on this forum, but I have seen another fellow baton his through a tremendous amount of wood. Honestly I am surprised still that I love these knives even after a year or so of having them. Especially since I despise Moras and most any knife like them.

crap sheath, good value. I have them all,
the roach belly makes a great tacklebox knife with the super pointy patch style blade, I have given away 5 or 6 and cleaned a ton of fish with mine.
The wolf makes a great boning knife
The bear is really sturdy, I like the ribbed handle
The longhunter is my camping kitchen knife
I don't know the rockwell on the steel but it holds an edge ok and touches up really easy.

I was impressed with the tang pic's, they are sturdier than I thought

I've got a finn bear I use in the kitchen and also for trimming deer meat once its been quartered. Its a good lil knife.

I've got the Finn Bear and really find no troubles with it. Sheath is flimsy, but works.

I use it alot of beach hikes and have carved up alot of driftwood with it. Good knife, especially considering the price.

I really like the steel in them, for the price.

I can get them wicked sharp, print shaving sharp.

It's not that I dislike the steel. Like you, I love how sharp they can get and it seems to hold an edge well also. I would like to see them in a steel that takes a patina though. Patina just looks way cooler, IMO. Other than that, I think they're good little knives.

From this Cold Steel model series, I have the Canadian Belt Knife. It's a great slicer and a good deal for the money.

I have the roach belly of the series, and I abuse it like it shouldn't be. Mainly because I am not scared if it breaks. Hasn't failed me yet. That aside, the sheath is a bit crappy.
