Anyone break a FG handle?

I am wondering if anyone has broken a Gerber or Fiskars (or other) axe or hatchet handle. It gets cold here in the winter (-30) , and I'm wondering if that might make it even more of a possability. I usually warm up my traditional ones, but have never heard of a fibreglass one breaking.

Awhile back I read about a couple instances in the W&SS section but I can't remember the thread title. As I recall, the consensus among the posters was that it was extremely rare.

I broke the handle on one of their mauls. I have been splitting oak with it and discovered it as I was removing the handle from a chunk of wood. It still works fine, I will just have to see how long it lasts in its condition.

Most people report good luck with them but there have been a few threads where folks have broken the Gerber/Fiskars polymer handles. Some were in cold temps IIRC, so -30 (C or F it doesn't really matter) might not be a good match. Of course, at those temps wood might not be much better. The only other choice I see would be the all-steel Estwing.
