anyone carry a flashlight everyday???

I'm carrying a knock off LED... been thinking about one of the photon deals for the key ring... any of them water proof?

I´ve EDC a flashlight for years, it used to be a a 2 AAA Pelican or a 1 AAA Maglite, currently it´s a UZI 3 LED 1 AA on my belt, sometimes a Pelican L1 on a neck lanyard, used to have a cute keyring sized Innova but gave it away.

Arc AAA on keyring all the time.

Longbow Micra or Arc4 when it's dark out.

Surefire G2Z added to the mix when I go for a walk at night.

This was even funnier when I carried a Surefire M3 and used that for walking around. :footinmou

Surefire 4th gen KL1 on a McGizmo Aleph 1x123 body and a Z57 clickie in my pants pocket and a Surefire U2 in my jacket pocket or BOB. I lived on an island for 17 years where we had intermittent blackouts for 4 years straight, sometimes having only up to 6 hours of power a day. They still have blackouts, actually called "brownouts" because the whole city wasn't blacked out, to this day. You tend to develop a healthy love for handheld light sources after living in that environment. :D

I just encountered this on Christmas day. I was with my family over at some relatives house and my mother and sister asked if I had a flashlight and if she could use it so my grandmother could see something (she doesn't see well at ninety something). So I said of course, brought it over, and shined it where it was needed. Then my baby sister (18) had to make some kind of comment about how it was funny that I carried a flashlight. It boggles my mind how people can sit there and ask for help and then try to belittle the person who's helping.

I keep a pelican L1 clipped to my left pocket. It has a very long runtime and is nice and small, waterproof too.

In my bag I keep an eternalight, pelican m6 and cmg infity aaa.

MMMMM... flashlights.

Inova X5T, Dorcy AA with me all the time. Just got a Surefire A2 and have to find a way to carry that! It won't fit in the slot my Inova goes in. Also just got a Photon which I added to the keychain.

Carry a lighter too, but that's the "standard" way for non-torchers to add light to a situation.

I carry an Arc AAA on my keys, and a Longbow Micra w/reflector and UCL.
The others come and go depending on what I'll be doing.

Is anybody else getting the little pop-up box?
When I refresh this page, go from pg 1 to pg 2, and hit reply, I get a box that says:
connect to lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com
Arc Flashlight LLC

I have to close it before I can do anything else...
Wierd. Since I posted, it only does it when I go back to pg 1, and not when back to pg 2.
I have pop-ups blocked, too

Yeah, I got that too. I'm betting that someone has a picture hosted on another forum/site, one that requires a password.

ARC AAA HA white in a Mission Wallet, another ARC AAA white attached to my Windmill, Photon II on gadget laden keychain in coat pocket, E2E in other coat pocket, G2 in both vehicles, X5T here or there, TASK lights stashed around also.

Maglight AAA in Mission wallet. Photon Microlight on keys. Knockoff LED ($15.00) I got at a gunshow in the car. Looking for similarly-sized replacement for the AAA maglite.

I usually do a flashlight EDC rotation as I do with my knives, so I typically alternate between smaller lights like a LongBow Micra, Inova T1, Peak McKinley, Coast/Ledlenser v2 Tac Torch and a Nuwai Quantum III. I usually tote an Inova XO or an Elektro Lumens XM-3 in my backpack along with a Princeton Tec EOS headlamp.

SF E1E in my pocket, (got mine for Christmas, too! :D ) CMG Infinity in my watch pocket, Princeton Tec Blast with extra bateries in my day bag.

I, too, carry a PrincetonTec Blast in my Podzilla. What else do you have in your day bag?

By the way, since you have a "day bag," do you also have a "night bag?"

I have so many bags I don't know what to call them anymore. I refer to whichever one I'm using as my "kit." My family tends to call it my man bag.

Yes, and I carry more than one every day. Being myopic, I like to be able to apply lots of light to any situation I may enounter.

I carry a Photon Freedom Micro Covert white and an ARC AAA on my neck lanyard.

On my belt, I carry a SureFire E1e in a Victorinox sheath and an Inova X5-T in a RIP-OFF sheath from BrightGuy.com.

In my peacoat, I carry my Inova XO3 in one pocket, my SureFire E2e in another pocket, and my Inova X1 on my keyring.

Today I had to whip out my TNC AA to help the counter girl at lunch locate the beer I had asked for. The cooler next to the cash register was dark and very deep and that light certainly helped out.

I EDC the TNC AA and even carry it in my sweatpants at night. It is the handiest light for getting around the house that I have found. I also carry a SF L4 in my pants pocket. Always at hand in the truck are a SF G2, Arc AA, and Nuwaii Q3.

I really want one of those Nightcutter M60s though..... :)

Try a Dorcey AAA LED flashlight to replace that mag.....I think you'll like it!
