Typically speaking I don't carry my linerlock knives like this for fear of them opening on me. I've never actually had this happen with any of my knives thus far but the fear is always there especially if its going to be IWB.

For this reason I usually only carry my BM 722 IWB or one of my lockback Spydercos.

Have you ever had a linerlock open on you with this type of carry?

Nope. I used to try IWB with liner and frame locks, but the ball dentents weren't enough to keep the knives closed. If I do IWB now, it's with a lock that has some sort of spring action to keep it closed.

All of the liner locks/frame locks I have carried IWB have opened up on me.

I have bitten about 4 or 5 times but never seriously.

I now (try to remember to) pinch the blade and the back of the slabs together thorugh the trouser material before I go to draw the knife or tuck my shirt in.

I think it is tucking my shirt in that cauces my sebenza to open sometimes when the shirt material catches on the thumb stud.

Good point. I believe this is exactly how any IWB carried knives get partially opened unknowingly.

Tuck your shirts in carefully dudes, and your knife should remain closed.

I wear a Kershaw Scallion IWB in my slacks at work. I keep the blade lock engaged, so it should never open up accidentally. At work is the only place I wear a knife IWB though, it works best with slacks and it's fairly sheeple friendly. Not as concealed as in a pocket, but then it's flopping around all day, but I digress.

I've carried an emerson cqc7 iwb for about two years, never had a problem.

I do. Have two that way in my track pants right now (well one is an axis lock). Just make sure that the detent is strong and you should be fine. But in the end it just depends on what you are comfortable with.
