Anyone carry a machete?

For 15 years or so I was completely content to wander the bush with a Kukri machete (the early model Carbon V from Cold Steel and a later S Africa made 1055 version) and a 3 blade Old Timer Stockman. Did everything from firewood to whitetail deer with one or the other. Worked just fine. Only this year decided to do something different.....
