anyone carry a multitool everyday

I carry a Leatherman Micra every day (I have a desk job). On weekends, I usually carry my Wave - or did until I sold it off. I am waiting for my new Wave 2004. Can't wait!

Everyday and almost everywhere

Out and about, a Vic Craftsman rides in a belt pouch

In the car, a LM Wave

At work, Vic Deluxe Tinker (maybe replaced by a Vic Spirit)

At home, Vic Troubleshooter

I don't see many people mention the Mereyco Blackie Collins design Paradox as a multi tool, but with a SEKI 4 inch blade, nice ergonomical SD type grip, folding pliers, and HEX BIT HOLDER. it is one of the top carrys in my revolving EDC!
Of course the pliers are light forge steel, so it can only take light duty, but it can serve emergency purposes.
I think it is one of the better designed tools as you get a super functional one handed folder.

JoeShredd,
Where did you get those nut holders?

As to what I carry on my belt everyday... see pic... and I've changed the tool to a Gerber gold ti-nitride coated power-lock.

Every work day I carry a courier-type shoulder bag everywhere, and an old style Wave is always kept inside. When I'm not at work, I carry a Victorinox Spirit.

JoeShredd,

The bit holders came out of a cheapo Chinese kit available for like $9, maybe on Cheaperthandirt.com or Sportsmansguide.com? Anyway, I have seen them in a catalog, just don't remember which one. I got mine, however, at the Puyallup Arms Collectors Show out here in WA, again for @$9... I also think the socket set was in it, too, along with the bit holder/adapter.. Replaced the bits with a better quality though, as the Chinese ones ground down by about the third use...:(

i carry a Charge Ti on my belt every day, with the horizontal option, it basically disappears and i don't notice it (i bought the nylon sheath)

before that it was an original Wave, invariably if i leave the house without one of those or my SAK i'll need it for something

unless i'm gonna go through metal detectors or get wet, i'm basically not going anywhere without them

I don't leave the house without a Leatherman Micra in my pocket. At work I wear a Super Tool 200 on my belt, and a Kershaw liner in my pocket. When doing man stuff (hunting, fishing, lumber yard, etc.) I wear a Nite Ize "Pock Its", that normally lives in my glove box. It holds a ST 200, Mini MagLite with a led conversion, Swiss Card, extra pair of batteries, angled tweezers (lumber yard), pen, small magnesium fire starter, a key chain with a Swiss Tech 8-in-1, a Photon II, and a whistle.

I have a question for all of you, do you carry your multi tool with a clip or with a sheath. oh and i carry a Ti with a sheath

I EDC a Leatherman Fuse on my belt everyday. I also carry some sort of SAK in my pocket and on my keychain.

My wife has a Juice Pro in her purse and a Mini-Champ on her keyring.

I carry a SOG Powerlock EOD in my duty web gear. I actually don't carry a multitool off duty. Then again, I'm pretty much always working.:grumpy:

At least one of these on my belt everyday on rotation:
1. Swisstool
2. Leatherman kick
3. Victorinox Trekker
4. Victorinox Soldier
They are for greasy, dirty chores -- fixing bikes, replacing car batteries, etc.

I also carry a folder for food and other lighter cutting where I don't worry about hazardous chemicals etc getting into the pivots and contaminating the food. They are, on rotation,
1. Opinel
2. CRKT mirage
3. Aitor lockback

Yep, me. LM Core, use it almost every day. Will not go anywhere exept the courthouse and my kids school that don't allow it and my 45. Nope, I don't fly.

Depends on the size. My Swisstool or Leatherman Super Tool 200 are too big for pocket carry, so they go into a Nite Ize Pock-it on my belt, along with a Mini Maglite with LED conversion and a thin 6 inch adjustable crescent wrench (what good is a screwdriver if the nut freewheels?) Sometimes, depending, I replace the wrench with pruning shears.

Smaller multitools, Juice CS4 and PST, go into a side pocket, suspended by a shoestring lanyard attached to my belt. When I had a Charge TI it rode comfortably with a pocket clip, but I didn't like the tool and sold it off.
I never carry more than one full size multitool at a time.

Whatever else I carry, either a Vic Rambler or Micra, attached to a micro light, is always in my jeans watch pocket.

sog powerlock:
a) useful as hell for lighting and electriciany things
b) I can open it just like my butterfly knife w.o police swooping down on me
c) heavy and hard enough to use for serious self-defense if it came down to it(can you imagine what those open gears could do to someone's cheek bone?)

:)

I always have a Micra with a Microlight on it's ring in a custom leather money clip by Lifter that also holds a Fisher Bullet space pen in my right front pocket.

Cash, small multi tool, pen and light in a tiny package :)

If I'm in anything dressier than sweats, I've probably got a Victorinox Cybertool 29 in my left front pocket.

If I'm out on business I probably have a current WAVE in my laptop case along with a tiny multi meter, tape measure, DMT Diafold, etc. :)

Sometimes I've got a Charge Ti on my belt when I'm working on my house, or occasionally doing a local work project.

Not wearing my Powerlock and Model1 folder is like leaving the house without clean underwear....
