Yeah, I know.

But I have a hard time choosing between my Leatherman Wave and Victorinox SwissTool R/S.

I love them both. I miss the one I'm not carrying. Decisions, decisions....

Not two full-size ones, but I do usually have my LM Pulse, LM Micra, and Cybertool on me.

I carry either the Wave or SwissTool R/S, and then my Vic Executive, SOG CrossCut, and Spyderco Dragonfly.

I still want the SOG CrossGrip and Vic Cybertool.

Same as above, not 2 full sized ones, but the SOG Switchplier, and usually either a Sebertech or Micra in the bag.

LM Micra

Does that count?

Why yes, I usually try to pair up my multi-tool of the day with it's smaller counterpart;
Leatherman Pulse or Crunch&Micra.
Gerber Legend&Keychain Tool.
Sog Powerlock&Crossgrip.
Swisstool&Midnight Messenger.
Craftsman Pro Multitool (Schrade)&Schrade Tool Chip.
Bucktool&Mini Buck Tool.
This way you get a great variety of big and little tools, big and little screwdrivers, ect... Also make sure and add a Tactical!

Be careful out there!

I have only recently managed to ween myself away from my Victorinox SwissChamp. I still carry a Gerber Legend and a Leatherman Micra. See, I am getting better.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's a Tactical?

Is the SwissChamp really that great? I've seen them on display and they look as though they would be almost too bulky to use.

Cardimon, a "Tactical" folder is another way of saying; larger high quality folding knife you can depend on and open with one hand.

Most Benchmades, Buck Strider, Most REKATs, Most Spydercos, AL Mar SERE, Camillius CUDA, Most CRKTs, ect...... As far as I can tell it is a loose definition but I know I like em' (see my Bladeforums handle)!

P.S. And yes Tactical also means it looks like a combat knife or built for war but I don't think that definition is really true of most folders anymore.

I suppose that depends on what you're used to. They are definitely not intended for pocket-carry, but carry nicely in a belt pouch or waistpack.

Except for the lack of serious pliers the SwissChamp is one of the most capable tools I have used.

I use my Vic Craftsman's pliers as beefy tweezers. They work quite well.

This is a good question. One day at work I happened to have two multi-tools on me and I ran into a situation where I needed the slip joint pliers on my Craftsman and the needle nose pliers on my Leatherman.Right now I need to carry a phone,beeper,multi-tool,and about 2 lbs. of keys on my belt.I'd love to carry a second tool all the time, but as it is now my pants hit the floor in the bathroom with a crash

Yup. I feel your pain. How much I carry depends on how much weight my trousers can take before sliding down.
