Anyone deal with Onscene tactical?

I've heard these guys are great here on the forums, but have run into a road block with ordering (several emails, asking for price and payment instructions. All specific/serious)


Is this common? I just assumed they were very busy at the time.



(hope this is the right forum, maybe community would have been better call?)
 
Eric is a member here and goes by the user name Normark. He hasn't posted in a couple of weeks so he might be away from the shop. He has a good reputation and I haven't heard about there being problems with his communication. Have you tried giving him a phone call?
 
I have a knife and rig on the way back from him.. sent last friday .. Im not sure how long it takes to ship it from his location.. but also have sent some emails with no reply yesterday and today..

... I know he said he had a big order he was tending too last week when he sent me an email.. Ya might just give him a few days or give him a call.. Im chomping at the bit waiting for my package to arrive.. :)

I know he is a good stand up guy .. Probally just really really busy from the sounds of the last email I had recieved from him..

I hope everything is ok
 
Eric has his hands in a few different things and even with the tube back up, he can be several days between mail calls. Don't sweat it, be patient, I sent him mail last night and figure if I hear from him in the next week or two it's fine.

And yeah, his Kydex, along with Okuden, is some of the best you will find on the custom Kydex market.
 
Eric is a stand up guy in every sense of the word. I am sure you will be more than happy with whatever you order from him. If his computer is reported as being down, then you can always try to call him. He will call you back if you leave a message.
 
Eric isnt the fastest gun in the west when it comes to emails, but you get packages in the post soon enough :)

Last I heard from him was about 2 weeks ago and he had a 1000+ sheath order to fill for a knife company and said he was pretty frazzled.
 
Yep.. that is what he told me as well.. Poor guy I bet he is covered up big time.. but that is a good thing though. ;) Means he has a great product ..

I haven't started sweating yet about it not showing up.. I will wait till next week sometime for that lol ..
Edit: and It would be Eric I would be concerned with at all .. the USPS part is what makes me worry..;)
 
Hey this is exactly what a guy likes to hear eh?

I was more wondering if he was backed up than a good dealer (100% all reports say). 1000 sheath order? Let the guy relax and I can wait a few weeks.

I'm knee deep in a very large order, which looks like it'll be done in a few weeks hopefully...

Computer/phone line problems have Really slowed me down as far as communicating with you guys...

Right now my primary focus is on getting this order done and on time...
Deadlines are so tight on this one,, if I slack off too much I'll fall into a hole I won't be able to climb out of...

I got e-mail from Eric today, he is swamped and asked me to mail him again the middle of August - his work is worth the wait and certainly I am glad he has the trade!

Get the house paid off first, man, I'll wait!
