Anyone do sharpening/refurbishment? Need it on a 10V PM2.

I just ordered a sharpmaker today! I have no idea about reprofiling or microbevels but hope to learn! Especially by hand on diamond stones. I'd really like that, but I am sure that will take some practice! Hopefully the sharpmaker starts me out right.
I started hand sharpening , Long time ago.. A couple decades ago or so...
I can touch up an edge with a stone(river rock), frosted glass, bottom of a coffee mug, rusty pipe, the smooth part of a concrete sidewalk, etc..

One thing for sure.. I certainly learned a TON from reading here! After a dozen years of free hand sharpening.
The reading and learning how and why a edge is made, was more beneficial then the years of skill, before it.

Then I got a Sharpmaker. It's a easy way to go about it and I carry one in each car.
One has a set of CBN rods and a well worn set of diamond rods.
The other has 360 grit rods(not Spyderco) and medium rods.
Plus a strop block or sometimes just the back side of my belt.

Practice, practice, practice!!!!

(For me, the fine and extra fine rods are worthless.. only ever used them once, on one knife and it was a soft steel that I was working my way through all the steps.
My medium rods barely ever get used, unless it's a soft steel or a light touch up)

I like a toothier, working edge.
