I am always drawn back to my Leeks. I own a few, and will be buying 5 or 6 more this week.
Sure they could use better steel (BTW: just learned they make ONE version with S30V steel, got one on the way), but there's something to be said for such a sleek, smooth, slim, easy to carry, easy to bring into action assisted opener. Takes almost no effort to flip'er open, and the design is so slick and simple.
Simple, like a low budget Sebenza IMO.
Sure I own Sebenzas and a lot of other high priced knives, but I think there will always be a special place in my heart for the uber-simple, uber-slick, affordably priced Kershaw Ken Onion Leek. It's not always about the price of a knife, but just the simple enjoyment, and when I put that smooth handled Leek in my hand, I always seem to smile.
So many finishes, so many options, so little cost. Gotta love-a-Leek
Who's with me???
