My wife has been on me recently about having too many knives, so I decided to buy her one of her own to get her off my back. It seems to have worked, I got her an early Mothers Day present, a new Spyderco Delica 4 in purple (her favorite color), and she hasn't said a word about my knives since. Anyone else buy a knife (for someone else) for Mothers Day?

Maybe she just gave up all hope or is already ordering you some nice shoes for fathers day?

Nah. I'm sure she'll like the Delica. :-)

So far she loves it, she uses it at work for cutting open boxes, it does that well.

Nope hell no. I made her one instead. Based on her favorite knife

I got my stepmom a Victorinox Explorer. She mentioned she wanted a new SAK cause her old SAK(a Tinker, I think) got really gunked up and corroded. Since she really liked the idea of having a magnifying glass as one of the tools, the Explorer was the way to go.

While I've tossed around the idea of buying my wife a knife for some time, Ive found she responds best to flowers and chocolate! Maybe for her birthday.

Mine has her own and uses mine!!!,,, I have a nice pistol priced out for her though!!! Really!!!!

I thought about getting my wife a ZT0450CF for Mothers Day but money is tight and all she wanted was for me to sharpen her Kershaw Scallion and take the family on a hike to the top of a mountain. I had no complaints about that. Both were done successfully!
