Bucksway is speaking with tongue in cheek. ( Here's something most don't know, he is a professional harmonica player).
He has a big display box of 112's he has shown at the Blade Show in Atlanta. I have a photo in PhotoBucket (and my account is still alive) of him at a Blade Show with it. I will eventually find it if he is not careful and he will have see how young he looked back then. I did use search forum on this site back to 2014 and missed him somewhere. Since he was kidding around I was not offended that he thought he was the only single model collector.
As a reminder to middle to eastern Buck Forum members Blade is coming up in Atlanta the first full weekend in June. Blade Show is also happening for you NW guys so you need to think about making up a display of your knives you don't really collect. Gedlicks is a good contact for that and he will be glad to help anyone out who might want to do that. As a note, there have been a few souls that have traveled from the west coast to Atlanta to display, all by airplane.
Creating a display that can travel to a show and make a decent presentation takes just a little time and effort. Use the BCCI facebook site to ask questions, or contact David Martin, Gedlicks or me for information. You will need to make contact with President John Foresman to insure a table for your display.
We need some new folks to start displaying, several members have passed away, some with really nice displays, and a bunch of us are getting to old to deal with Atlanta traffic...Ha The show is right beside the Braves ball park but be ready to spend some money on tickets and parking. The Blade Show Atlanta is a knife show on steroids. The first time you go you will be stunned. If you make up a display, BCCI gets you in the door for free. The Atlanta show is for displaying, any commercial activities need to take place in the shadows and talk in hushed tones. Full out selling takes place in a specific area in the great hall and it will cost to reserve a table. Time is wasting. 300
