opened a bottle of maker's mark tonight:thumbup:

yeah i am drinking sam adams, and am bidding on an pricey item, nothing can go wrong with this combo. makers mark, did you know makers mark has a bottle that u can buy into with friends and they store it for like 8 yrs and you all sign it on the crate and open it when its ready?? i think it costs more than its worth

Sam Adams brewed here in good old Massachusetts...well something good comes out of my state anyway:rolleyes:

it's rare for me to drink...and more rare to drink the hard stuff but have the night off...it rained most of the day.

cozy on the couch in front of the TV and laptop;)

I will enjoy one for you....friend ;)

funny..i don't drink that much but didn't seem to lose my tolerance.
Prob has to do with my distaste for sloppy drunks:thumbdn:

tonight is a little celebration

1. finally a night off from work

2. all my SFNOs arrived today so nothing in transit to worry about getting lost!

Good Bourbon, yes... But Makers, not so sure :-)

Now if you said Van Winkle or Blanton's, then you would be on the mark.

Dwaine...good to hear you internet voice! hope all is well after being in the land of the sinners;)

I haven't tried either of those:confused: had the van winkle in my hand and put it back...does it live up to the hype?

The van Winkle does live up to the hype. The Blantons is bottled in the same distillery I believe, and is pretty darn good.
