Anyone else find the Dodo hard to close with one hand?

I imagine part of the issue is due to the spring's tension. The lower the tension, the less lateral pressure you'd need to apply to the ball bearing to pull it down in the lock channel. My Dodo's spring is really strong.

Could you replace it with a weaker spring?

I think so; it'd just be a matter of finding one with the right diameter and then cutting it to fit. I'm sitting here opening and unlocking my Dodo right now and the spring isn't as strong as I felt it was when I first posted that. I mean, it's pretty stiff, but as I disengage the lock over and over, I keep coming back to having a hard time getting a good grip on the bearing between my finger and thumb. Going against the spring just adds to the difficulty which is why I initially was thinking it was such a large factor. The tension could stand to be softer but then we're looking at lock failure if the ball isn't pushed far enough into the channel to secure itself.

It's times like this where I really begin to appreciate all the planning and engineering that goes into a good knife. The tolerances are ridiculous and this knife locks up perfectly. Every little detail is exact. And I still have trouble unlocking it one-handed. :p

Yeah my CS spartan was ridiculously hard to close one-handed when I first got it, and while I'm watching tv, I'll just open and close it over and over, and now it's much easier, but I still can't do it. I'm getting close though. I can almost do it.
