Anyone else get their Uncle Bill 12" Today?

I've got my mailman's route and schedule heavily surveiled. He'll arrive at my grid reference at 1300L tomorrow, and he won't be empty handed. ;)

Somehow, Yangdu gets me my khuks in two business days. I wish she could teach that trick to Amazon, which has an estimated time of 7 days for a digital camera battery using the same service...

Beautiful little khuk, going to give the wood handle the Tru Oil treatment, and all the bright bits will get several coats of Renaissance Wax. While I'm down in Austin Saturday, I'll swing by the WoodCraft store and glom onto the most beautiful piece of wood I can find for the wall plaque that I'll make for this knife. I've got villagers if I need a work knife, this one was bought for a singular purpose that don't involve chopping. It will hang on my wall as a reminder of a truly unique and excellent man. :)
