Anyone else giving a RAT??

I gave a buddy a tan Izula wrapped it with dark olive drab cord. It looks great. The cord matches with the engravings prefect. He loves it.

Knives seem alot more expensive when they are not for yourself....

it's the opposite for me. i love buying knives for my friends. for myself, it's always a struggle with "do I need another knife?" where as for someone else, I know they probably don't have that many quality knives laying around. needless to say I'm giving away 2 Izulas away this year.

I'm thinking of buying myself one for Christmas from my Father-in-law.:D He always gives money.

Giving my 11yr old son an Izula kit as one of his Christmas presents. Sure to be his favorite.

I agree, giving away knives to people who don't have any is much easier to justify than buying yet another knife for myself. Although I haven't gone past the $30 mark for such charities..yet.

Lol! Nothing like a little christmas present competition. What else is the lucky little man getting?

He's also getting a deluxe canteen kit from the canteen shop for a safe return course we are taking in Feb. plus some video games.

i'm giving my son who is leaving for basic in february a izula that i had engraved with our last name on it...and of course i had another one done for myself, and no i didnt wait for christmas to use it...

I got an Izula for my old man...and got one for myself, while I as at it. Seems like our gifts to each other these days are sharp or multi-tooly things, things that go LIGHT in the dark, and things that go gluck-gluck. Good 'ole family values!
