I don't keep personal daily diary. However I have four separate blank books which I write in from time to time:
1. Record of bank transfers online, important contact details, records of important events (useful for court evidence maybe), and any useful recipes or formulas which grab my interest. I try to remember to write the date of every entry, and rule off under each entry.
2. Camp diary. The family has a place that we have been going to for years. I record things like the names of folk who go there, what game animals were seen, what maintenance was done to things like buildings, machinery, water supply etc.....along with any other observations or notes of interest. So if we are wondering when we last replaced the boat mooring chain or changed the oil in the diesel generator we can look it up. My Dad kept such a diary for years, now I keep one.
3. Spiritual journal. Notes relating to dreams, coincidences, intuition, psychic experiences, answers to prayer, or anything that might indicate that there is more to life than we might think. I started writing in this maybe eighteen months ago. This book contains some interesting and inspiring material now and I am absolutely convinced that life is much bigger and more wonderful than we may generally imagine.
4. Daily diary relating to our business. Phone orders, records of payments, phone messages etc etc.
