anyone else like keychain toys?

Dumb quesiton, but if you guys seperate your keys, where do you put your house keys when you are driving (and the car key is, obviously, in the ignition)? Seems like one more thing to lose or forget.

House keys are on a separate rig in my sportcoat or jacket pocket. In warm weather, they're on the passenger seat.

Isn't that a Spyderco Jester? it's probably not the same folder if it was 2 bucks with thumbstuds that fall off.

I decided to artsy up my picture of my keychain. It's 2 house keys and a Mag Solitaire next to my new 55.

The spine looks a little too straight... I could be wrong, but I think it's a Ladybug. Either way, it's sure as heck not one of those cheapies you find in jars at gas stations.

Man, I'm liking that 55.... those curved bolsters are sah-weeeeet...

I like the bolster shape too, they should make some full size 110's with them. Now that'd be sweet...haha crappy web cam.

I hate keys/ keyrings/ keychains. Horrible spiky hooked things get caught in my wallet and stick in my leg and rattle when I walk if I put them in my pocket, if I hang them off my belt on a chain I look like a security guard

I have a leatherman micra on mine, must be approaching 10 years old now...

Um.. That's a Ladybug, no studs on that.

My local hardware store has a goldfish bowl next to the key duplicating machine full of junk knife-like objects that look similar to the Spyderco but have a thumb stud. I think they're 99 cents each but it might be $1.99. Putting one of those on your keyring would be a real bad idea -- it would probably unfold when you don't expect it to and cut you.

A real Spyderco won't take up any more room in your pocket and it'll be a lot more useful as well as safer.

here is mine toguether with my EDC

I did have a prybaby on it, but the security guard at court won't let me in with it anymore, so I took it off to avoid the hassle.

On what grounds were they disallowing the prybaby? It is not a knife or scissor?I think I would have taken that up with a higher up. I think we roll over too quickly at times, myself included. I lost it one day when this crap started and I went to court for a freinds deposition and the sherrif deputies got their panties in a bunch over my micra. I said it was just do good political bull crap considering all the chairs, flagpoles and posts that hold all those little wait in line ropes up that were on the other side of thier security point. I said those were waaaay more dangerous than my micra- they were none to happy with me at that point.... :D

She didn't say. I think it was just because it was a hunk of metal. I've got to deal with these people on a weekly basis and I didn't really care, so I didn't say anything. I guess I could have wapped opposing counsel's knuckles with it :).

yup I definately would have gone above her head... women trying to be security definately in my limited experience just love to flex autority they don't have...

Because they don't know what it is, and it's better to disallow than to allow, in their eyes. They can't be sued for not allowing someone to carry an item, while they are legally liable for what they do allow through.
