Seriously... I'm not normally one to complain but certain knife retailers that normally do awesome things completely side stepped it with a free tactical stocking... :jerkit:

Other than that, I really didn't see anything that great besides lower end crap...

:thumbdn: I've never sat at a computer with $500+ dollars to spend so disappointed in my life. I literally didn't buy anything.

I know that knifecenter is having some kind of small business saturday deal I think. But I did take note of those stockings a lot of retailers are pushing, lame.

I bought some knives from Knifeworks because of the 5% discount, but then again, they are my first choice for buying new knives and gear.

The publishers of Blade magazine had a great sale on books, so I bought some I had been considering for a while.

I wasn't disappointed. Quartermaster offered 50% off of everything on their website. Got some sweet stuff!!

Yeah....that tactical stocking novelty was everywhere. The must have item this season I guess?

I wasn't impressed either with the offers.....but I did see some good deals to be had on certain items. Just nothing I wanted or needed.

Basspro Black Friday:

-Drop the existing prices (at or near MSRP) down to average prices. Woot.

I dislike Bass Pro. I once got $50 worth of gift cards there for christmas and went to buy a kabar marine combat knife… Only to realize that it was around $90 there and $50 on amazon. Woo savings!

I went on amazon and a few other knife sellers on black friday and Cyber monday only to be disappointed…. Oh well.

I will say that Cyber Monday sucked this year. Amazon didn't even have a special section for it in their app like they did last year. I also got two or three website deals for a whopping 5% off... Woo... I think it was Knifecenter that offered a whole few dollars steak knife with orders over $75. Some of the "deals" I saw were a little insulting.

This year reminded me of the clearance items I saw before. One was on clearance for... NORMAL PRICE!!! The other raised the ante with a massive... 5 cent discount (on an item that was around $20). You can count the savings... on one hand.

I saw a good amount of that....... amazing lol.

I literally WANTED to blow money I saved and didn't spend a dime bro..

I was dissapointed with the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales for knife retailers, so instead I bought tactical gear and gun items for some good prices. Gun and tactical gear websites had good deals. At least bladeHQ had a few limited deals like Hinderer and Microtech. The brass ultra tech was attractive.

Black Friday basically suck but Cyber Monday @S**W was awesome.Offering 10%off a 100 order on anything,15% $100+,20% $300+ On top of $5 Flat Rate Shipping and a free knife with every purchase over $50.
