Came across a limited run variant of the ZT 0452 with full titanium scales. This is the LARGER one. I was never a fan of the smaller one, even with it being all ti. The standard version with one side CF was striking in appearance, and I LOVE that 4.1 inch classic drop point, but i tend to shy away from knives like this that dont at least have a liner...

Now this all ti version ia a different story! Anyone else have one or planning to order it? Found it on GPknives and BHQ. Interestingly, ZTs official site makes no mention of it.

I prefer the weight of my M390 CF, but if ZT drops versions with some anodizing and steel variations I'll grab one.

I've been out of the knife game for months, if not a year, largely because I haven't been impressed by new offerings, ZT's included. I think this variant though is going to be my first knife purchase in a long time.

What I would really like though is if they did a closer clone of the original Sinkevich prototype. 3d contoured CF scale like the 0454's (not the flat one on the 452CF) and blue anodized hardware.

Nah, I'm holding out for the 0562TI. :D

But, but, you could have one now.

Worth mentioning that these all TI 0452 models have skeletonized titanium on the presentation side. So, they weigh only 5.05 ounces versus 4.65 ounces for the 0452CF. It's a big flipper with a 4.1" blade length but in a real slim package.

I see, the curse of the meat paws. I have larger but skinny, slender hands so it might be a good fit for me.
Probably not - I handled the 0450 at a shop...it's small enough to be awkward (XL gloves, slim fingers, here). If you just love the style, go for it - you can make it work... but, otherwise, not worth the effort.

I like it but that big cutout right before the pocket clip needs to be on the inside like a ferrum forge or some of the Chris reeves folders.
