Anyone else prefer wood scales?

Cleaned up and sharpened some of my wood scaled edc's...there's just something about wood on a knife...

Bonus points if you can identify em' all!

I'm partial to bone or horn but I do love me some Ironwood & Olivewood.

Yup, ironwood and bone are my favorite natural handle/inlay materials.

out of all my folders only four have wood in the handle and they are CRKs

wood is warm, somehow more connected, something about the feel of it, which is NOT really there with fully stabilized/epoxy'd types of wood scales...

I'd prefer ironwood, & other hardwoods, with perhaps just a bit of high grit sanding & perhaps some pure tung oil, or linseed & thats about it
keeping the grain & feel really gives you something which is special...
