Anyone else try making their own sheaths?

Yeah you can get any model he makes without the saw teeth if you like. I've got the Surv9, a MCE2 7" and a MCE2 9.5 inch only had the saw teeth put on the MCE2 9.5 inch. I've got another one on order from him for my daughters graduation/commissioning present a Caiman. All in s35vn.

Those knives look awesome Dave; and the sheath work is very good; I'm an ignoramus regarding sheaths but I like what I see.

All the ones posted in fact; I wouldn't even know where to start. Great job guys!!

Have an oven, heat gun, pair of ply wood, rivet, clamps and some packaging material from my dell computer box. Everything's what I already have other than the rivets which I forgot the cost. Here's the result NMSFNO

NMFSH- sheath and belt loop are flexible, straight and at an angle on purpose so I can pull and insert more conveniently.

Those are nice. I have made a lot of my own, and have only purchased the kydex sheets, rivets, and a cheap rivet tool. I use an old camping mat, cut into sections, and books for the press (I just stand on the books for about ten minutes), and use my home oven to make the kydex pliable, then a BIC to refine the thumb ramps and smooth the edges. I cut it out with a small saw and whittle it down with a sharp pocket knife and sand paper. They aren't professional, but it is fun and surprisingly cheap to get started with the bare bones equipment. I'll post pictures in a bit.

I started a while back. Got fairly good at it for just having a homemade press, dremel, drill, hand setter, hair dryer and a belt sander.
