Anyone else used PayPal credit to buy a knife.. Guess that's when u know ur a blade junky. Lol.

Yeah, it gets out of control really quick. Deals that are "too good to pass up" justify purchases it takes forever to pay off. I recently just paid it off and limit myself to having $100 on there at any one time, no matter how good the deal is. I've missed a few great knives I kick myself on, but it's better than paying that outrageous interest.

I'm a blade junky and I've never charged a knife.

If you can't pay cash, you can't afford it. IMHO.

Two yrs ago, I was running a $1500 bill each month. But, no more. Sometimes, I buy a knife and have an automatic loan through my credit union, which is a LOT CHEAPER.
Check it out.

i Have never bought anything through Pay Pal by any means yet at least monthly I get e-mails from them advising me to update my account info!

Use it all the time.
It was taking up to 4 days for a bank transfer to go through. With PP Credit, folks get their money right away, I've got up to 30 days to pay them back.
It's more of a convenience and I don't have to wait an extra 4 days for a knife.

Yes, but you can use PayPal without using PayPal credit. In fact I use PayPal mainly because that some people I do business with that is all they accept.

You can pay automatically from paypal through your bank. That's what I do when I don't have a balance. It doesn't take 4 days...

I know it used to take 3-5 days because it is an ACH debit, like writing a check, so takes a few days to clear (or it did a few years ago when I used to sell a lot of coins on eBay) on the seller side. It comes out of the buyer account that day but you get an e-mail from Paypal stating do not ship until you receive notice that it clears in 3-5 days unless something has changed.

I also use my Paypal credit when they have a special promotion but I do pay it off before any interest accrues, just like any other credit card. I usually use one of my personal cc's since I get cash back...

This is how I feel about almost every purchase, but especially about elective items such as additional knives.
