Howdy.....Look what I found while looking thru my stuff. I have had this knife for years. I
was in the Air Force in 1970. Its a paratrooper knife. It sure is handy! fwiw
What is a good way to post photos .....Here? Thx.....!
I cannot see the knife, but think you may be speaking of the orange automatic survival pocket knife, Correct?

Now then, if i may ask, just what is a "U.S. Paratrooper knife"? I was a Paratrooper and Parachute Rigger in the 1960s, and there was no such "NAMED Knife" "to my knowledge", issued or otherwise. We used what ever we liked, and paid for it ourselves. My choice was the Buck Skinner, with Lanyard attached strapped to my boot. In today's world, it seems anything with Paratrooper, Vietnam War, Rambo etc., sells Copies.

My definition: A Paratrooper Knife must be a fixed blade of 6 to 8 inches, Razor Sharp, with a lanyard attached. Its main purpose is to cut thru Suspension lines, Webbing, and canopy nylon if needed to Survive a Canopy Malfunction.
