Anyone ever attended The Blade Show in Atlanta, GA?

Besides other forums, where are they supposed to hang out to be publicly adulated? Home with the wife:confused::D:D:D

This is not a joke.....no matter how much you take...it will not be enough....so bust a spleen to scrape together every cent that you can...and purchase very, very wisely, otherwise, you will be in a world of hurt, when come Sunday around noon, you find your personal Excalibur....and you won't be able to buy it.....that said, don't overspend so severly that you have to hold a "fire sale" because it is easier to buy somthing than it is to keep it. At Blade, cash is king, some take credit, and you better be a seriously "known" personage to get a check accepted.

I had a feeling you were going to say that. However, thanks for the wisdom. I'm learning that good judgment and discernment is key to having a fun time at the Blade Show.

I'll be there for my first Blade Show, should I plan on more than 1 day (I think I know the answer)? Thanks

This will be my second time going to the Blade show, the first being in '06. I would say absolutely plan on Saturday AND Sunday. This show is HUGE and you won't want miss anything because you had to rush through. It takes a long time just to SEE everything and then once you have your list of highlights you'll want to go back to look in more detail and may even want to take some time to talk.

And then after you've had a good nights rest you'll think of a bunch of booths/makers that you want to see AGAIN. :)

Be in the atrium of the Waverly hotel, aka "The Pit", on thursday night. There are a lot of knives sold there before the show ever opens.
