Anyone ever bought a knife at hr knives?

OP , I read your other thread about this same topic in the Spyderco forum as well as the included link from March 2017 about another member's experience with this dealer. And although I have no personal experience with them , from what I've read , they seem shady as F. You may have to contact PayPal like that guy did in order to get your money back if it comes to that. Hopefully you paid via PayPal. Otherwise , good luck.

I ordered a discontinued knife from them on Jan 4th because none of the sponsored sites or other usual places had it. HR Knives charged my cc on the 4th and so far I see no indication that it shipped. Still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt - maybe it shipped and their notifications aren't working? My requests for a status have gone unanswered.

Will update in the next few days on the resolution.

EDIT: Just checked Google reviews. They have 10 reviews: 9 one star and 1 two star. Many complaints of them trying to rip people off.

This place has had my money for 2 weeks. No email or phone calls about status. I'll have to go to my cc company to get my money back. Appears to be a scammer. This should probably be added to the hall of shame thread.

Using Yahoo eCommerce engine. They will hear from me, as will the BBB and whatever consumer protection agency exists in Virginia. I'll pile on another terrible Google review as well.

CC has "conditionally" refunded my money. This douche bag apparently has 60 days to contest it.

Filed a complaint with the Virginia Consumer Protection (atty general's office). Also added to the terrible reviews on Google Maps. I can't find any way to complain to Yahoo. You'd think they'd want to know given it's their eCommerce engine. But they have their own issues, so maybe not.
