So you are looking through your pictures and then think 'Oh dang, I forgot I had that one' :D

This has happen to me several times and now recently when I saw a picture of a Kershaw Strobe I picked up here on the forums.

Hell. I can't remember half the knives I own if I don't carry them or fondle from time to time. It is not that I "can't" remember, but I don't really care IF I remember. The same applies to firearms.

Well I do care, cause Ive lost a couple of knives since I always seem to misplaced them and then completely forget I had them :(

Every time I get ALL my knives out its Christmas!!! Some I remember, some I don't!!! John

The other night I was Ebayin at work and ran across a good deal on an NIB Spyderco Impala with gut hook. I could not remember if the one I have was the gut hook version. By the time I got home and checked, no gut hook on mine, the matching one I wanted was long gone. It had a really low Buy it Now price, DOH!

I care also if I loose them outside the home. There is misplacing and there is loosing. I misplace knives frequently. It only really matters if it is an EDC. I buy enough new knives that if one goes missing because it fell behind something or got covered up at home, it's not a big deal. They always turn up. I only just recently started keeping track of some knives on my computer. Don't really have pictures of any of them.

The ones Ive lost have been outside the home i think, because I havent found them since I lost them and I dont even remember when I actually lost them. i know, its bad. :( Keeping track of them in like an excel worksheet seems like a good idea. Thanks!
