This is probly the wrong forum for this but am i the othe only one being a selfbow archer myself who gets ticked when compound archers say the are "traditional" or "primitive" hunters?

I don't get ticked or mad. I just grin and ask ....
"Oh, Yeah. When did the Apaches invent the wheel?"

I just can't understand why some people call me a smart ass.

Not sure what that has to do with throwing knives, but bow snobbery is silly.

Kinda knife throwing related
.... arrows are kinda like specialized throwing knives. They are sharp and pointy (hunting heads ==> hunting knives which are sharp) or just pointy (target points ==> throwing knives which are pointy but not real sharp).
You just use both hands instead of 1 hand.
Arrows are no-spin (end-over-end-wise) and rotational (spin-stabilized) at the same time.
