Anyone ever heard of "Cool Hand" knives? Mini Flippers in Titanium

Just poking around this came up in one of my searches and I have one on the way.
It's 440, but if it is properly heat treated there's nothing wrong with 440. The look of it I really like, and it says it's on bearings, a flipper, looks like nice anodizing....
Thing is that it looks like these were only made in a small batch and I can't find another one anywhere. Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I'll report back.

I contacted the company to see if there was any stock anywhere else and asked if they would do a run of them if it was only a 1 time offering. It's a 2.2" blade which is pretty decent just as a little knife to put in a backpack or something as a backup.

Has anyone heard of this company before?

Check out the pics, I like what I see. It was only like $16 shipped. Any info appreciated, and if anyone wants to get one if I can find any more for sale PM me. I'm jumping the gun a little but here since I don't have it in hand, but if it turns out to be as expected I was thinking that if enough of us want one maybe we could ask the manufacturer to do a run for Bladeforums. Is this against any rules BTW? I haven't seen any runs of knives done specifically for Bladeforums, but I would definitely like to see something like that happen. I've been around here for the better part of like 15 years, not that I am on here all day every day or anything, but enough so that I think if there was a BF official run of knives I would have run across it.
Have we ever had a BF knife done?

I don’t see much traction for this.

First, the style is all wrong in general. BF knives have largely been traditional. There have been a few modern knives, like the run of Kershaw Skylines from several years ago, but there’s much more interest in tradition patterns.

Second, I’m not comfortable with CoolHand as a manufacturer. They offer very little specific information on the knives shown on their website. Point of Origin is a hot issue here for many and CoolHand mentions nothing of the manufacture location. China is a logical guess.

Further, several of the styles look very “borrowed” from other makers and designers. The flipper you’re looking at bears a striking resemblance to the Laconico Keen, simply smaller.

Finally, forum knives typically are organized by a BF dealer who works directly with the maker. It’s not a grass roots effort. You need a dealer that members trust to champion the project. I don’t see this happening with this little, unremarkable knife from a brand that nobody has heard of.

I, for one, would have no interest in owning a copy of this little flipper. Best of luck with your new knife.

Still got my forum Skyline and I remember that being a bit of a fiasco, with miscommunication about whether it would be a full flat grind and such. I never felt Thomas W was cut out to be a mod, but I felt bad for him in that situation.

A bit before my time but the ddr gunhammer was a disaster.

Sorry, but I see nothing to like in this square chunk of metal. Another one out of a million titanium (or look a like) handled flippers. Just FYI : if the Tech Specs says "440" you can be pretty sure it's 440A, at best. 440A is nothing premium by all stretches (what do you expect from heat treat with almost no carbon ?) but by Chinese specs you can get something of even lower performance.
