So this guy is on facebook and has posted just about every image on my website to his facebook profile without crediting me as the maker AND posting prices that I dont charge (way too low). Anyone ever run into him? Should I be upset.View attachment 2917792
there is a copyright notice on my website, not each image, maybe I will have to add it and watermark to each image.Anything copyrighted or otherwise legally protected?
If you think there is a problem you can file a complaint with FB and also file a DMCA complaint to have it taken down.there is a copyright notice on my website, not each image, maybe I will have to add it and watermark to each image.
I am trying to resolve this without going that route, but definitely keeping that in the holster. Thank you!If you think there is a problem you can file a complaint with FB and also file a DMCA complaint to have it taken down.

Going to FB sounds like the gentlest route....
I never thought of that.If he is reusing pics that you posted on FB you are out of luck - you lost your copyright.
I completely agree. Just advising to be careful posting pictures to FB.He cannot be up to any good if he is stealing images and making up prices on products he doesn’t make. Seems very shady to me.
Yes, your reminder is good for makers to keep in mind if they wish to keep control of the IP and copyrights.I completely agree. Just advising to be careful posting pictures to FB.
