anyone ever made a ceramic knife?

i have no idea how a ceramic knife is made. very curious. could be fun to make one. or not...

how does one go about it?

It requires exacting chemistry coupled with heat and hundreds of tons of pressure..Something we dont have..You can find a vid on youtube id guess from either "how its made" or "Modern Marvels" that shows them making ceramic knives..

Those who want to "make" a ceramic knife usually buy the blade from Woodcraft and add the handle they want.

They've got like 80+ HRC right?. Guess you'd need an abrasive water jet to cut out the blanks and diamond belts for the rest lol.
