Yea, I was thinking that in my head. I'll probably quench the blade in water periodically if I decide to go that route.

EDIT: What's the best 'writing utensil' to use to mark the blade? I want to have a guide drawn on the blade so I can see what I want to grind off.

just make a stencil to trace out of something sturdy then use a very sharp nail (you will probably wanna sharpen one wicked sharp) that should make a pretty good mark. Or just use a sharpie.

good luck. im too scared to put mine any where near the grinder. i think stripping it would be pretty cool though.
