Thinking about ordering a knife from this place, not very familiar with them. Looking for any feedback I can get.

If it's feedback you're looking for, it belongs in FEEDBACK! :D

I subscribe to Fred for his monthly sales and bought a few items from him. The sales especially have nice prices, and his service is first rate.

Here are a couple links I found when checking out the Good, Bad, and Ugly. Good place to search if you're curious about someone's reputation.

Thanks guys, I browsed looking for a section like this but I guess not hard enough. It's a big forum!

I just ordered a Wild Steer WX Folder from them, I just had never heard of the company or any feedback so I like to ask before I order.

Had some good buys from them with no problems. Shipping has been a bit slower than a few of the other places I do business with, but not so much so that it bothered me at all.

I did get an email replay to a question I sent through their website. It was a simple "Yes, Fred" but that will suffice. We'll see how the order goes.

Thought I would end this thread with an update, I got my order today. It took one day to ship the knife and 3 days for it to get here. That's totally reasonable if you ask me. Email communication was short and to the point, but sufficient. I will likely order from them again.

i think everything is drop shipped and not always in stock (back ordered). it seems like a one man operation from what it appears like. if something is back ordered or not available you may not find out. happened to me and I emailed him for more info. he lied and told me he emailed me that, but I looked in my spam folders and found nothing.

I told him that it was annoying that everything on his site shows in stock regardless if its not. he said then this wasnt the site for me.

his monthly sales seem to go without a hitch and even tho its a small sale, they do have some decent items at great offers. processing and shipping isn't like Amazon so don't expect to get it fast.

edit: crap I fell for a zombie thread.

Look, bro, the company is still doing business. Google for a review, and this thread pops right up. No reason not to keep it up to date. The seller is still good, bad, ugly or ????

Thank you for your contribution. The site no longer represents that the knives are in stock.

Pretty awful feedback out there.

Okay, lol. But, but, but, why'd you respond to somebody, that posted five years ago?

If you check, you responded to Evil D's post, which was on 02/07/13, so it's a bit confusing, as to why you responded, in the first place. While Google might be our "best friend," it appears that time, wasn't yours, in this case. No big deal, just a bit confusing, that's all. ;)

I did not respond. I posted an update on an open topic. If you Google the name of the company you - anyone who reads - will find the sorry information. On your implied logic, the mods should erase all threads here after some (?) time and not leave the feedback record. I do not think that is how this place works because the mods have repeatedly said that is not how it works. Sorry you were confused.

if it can be found via Google why are you bumping the thread? you shouldn't have to. and you didn't add any info yourself.

what was your dealings with them?

Still trying to get my money back.
