Anyone ever order from Metal Master (Japanese Based)?

I would recommend opening a dispute asap, not later on. By opening it now, Paypal will be contacting the vendor, if nothing moves then perhaps it was better that you get your money back then waiting for a product that may or may not arrive.
He can be slow to ship at times. I think his ebay business is part-time and he closes up shop from time to time, but always reopens. He's a stand-up guy. I seriously doubt you will get ripped off. Most likely, you'll have your higo well before you go to file a dispute.
Was there ever any resolution to this? Did people who ordered get their knives eventually?
I ordered a higonokami almost 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything even after sending a follow-up email inquiring as to status. I'd prefer the knife to a refund but if it looks like products are no longer shipping I'd like to start the refund process.

I talked to the OP offline and he said he got the knife after 3 weeks, but never received tracking info. This matches my own experience. My knife arrived about 3 weeks after ordering but I didn't get tracking info either.
So for any future buyers know the knives are shipping but the website suggesting a 6-7 day wait (for in stock items shipped via EMS) is optimistic. Also the communication is non-existant.
That said, overall I'm happy with the knife and the price I paid.
