Anyone ever use "Clip-IT"?

I saw this ad in the current Blade, and was wondering if anyone has ever tried one? I Emailed them to find out about quantity discounts (normally $9.95 each), because I think the price would have to come way down before it would be cost effective.

Any thoughts?

Hey Jail...

Yaaa I looked into these some six months ago or so...

They look kind of cool,,and possibly have Alot of uses..

I just haven't had the need for them yet..
Definately something to keep in mind though...

By the looks of them, they may be able to be screwed onto a panel,,so this could come in handy..

Try'm out and let us know what you think...

I do believe that the clip can be bolted or riveted on a Kydex or Nylon sheath, and the fact that no belt is needed is a plus factor, but that price kind of hurts.

I was looking at these at the Blade Show and thought they would come in handy for just about a hundred uses. Then I heard the price. For about a third of what they are asking I would have picked up several but I can't see the most expensive part of a sheath being the clip. Let us know if they offer any discounts.

The gentleman replied to my Email that they do offer discounts, and sent me pricing. I will however wait to post those prices until I recieve an answer to a second Email I sent inquiring as to whether or not the base can be seperated from the clip so that it can be riveted to Kydex/Concealex, and then put the clip back on. I will say that the discount is considerable.
