I just received a bag of old piano keys that have real ivory, but the keys arent solid and are instead just really thin sheets of ivory on top of wood. I would guess the ivory is about 1-2mm thick at best.

What can I use this stuff for? Anything other than inlays?

I am gonna make some buddies ivory guitar picks, but couldn't figure out a way to use them as scales due to their very thin thickness.

I use to make scrimshaw jewelry out of them, but aside from that maybe you could make some inlays. They are too thin for anything else.

Are you suggesting thst some of them might be for sale ?? Info re. this please .........................

I have thought about laminating them into a larger block. Not sure if it would work on not though.
