Anyone fallen in love with a knife they used to hate?

When Busse went to the E-handles, I thought that they looked atrocious.
By the time I decided to buy a Natural Outlaw-E, they had made the handle drop less extreme, and the minute I held the thing I fell in love with it. Now my Busse collection is heavily weighted to E-handles, and all of my Busse users except the small knives and one FSH are E-handles.

When I first got my native as gift, it was the first frn handle for me and I hated the cheap plastic look and feal, then qupid struk.

Buck 110 forsure. I to used to think they were heavy, bricks. I carry my 112 almost every day now.

easy question....
Vic classic. Got it free as a service club give-away at x-mas years ago. Thought it was a POS and useless. Now I have a job that its all I can carry. So , I carry one EDC and have found its a cutting demon. I opened a bag of cat food in one second flat on Thursday.

SAK. Was thinking it's cheapo and soft steel, unworthy of my usage. Found out it holds terrific edge and very user friendly, and even sheeple friendly!

I am not in the business of being macho anyway .. :D

SAK for me too...i never used it for years and now since i am at college i use it as my EDC.

I used to think all Spyderco's were ugly and never considered buying one. Now most of my knives are Spydies:foot: I especially love my Para, and I have a Dodo on the way.
I have always loved SAKs. My first knife ever was a Swiss Army Camper given to me by my parents when I was going into cub scouts. It looks real beat up but I still have and use it, especially when I go camping because it has a really handy saw on it.

Spydercos in general. Maybe it is because we are both cheap :D
My point exactly! Till I handled couple of Spydies I believe them ugliest knives in the world. Now I even carry Endura and wouldn't mind even to buy Manix!
