I ran into James Mustain at a local gun show and his knives are interesting. I was advised by some of the local vendors that he is a legitimate maker. His knives look very good but I am unable to find anything on him online.

Is anyone familiar with this maker?

He had this on his table. It’s a damascus lockback with release activated by the pommel extension. The handle is green spacer overlayed by armadillo and horn. The was very smooth and he told me that it ran on bearings and that he had figured out how to set it without building the race into the blade.

He also had this large kitchen knife.

The knives certainly look cool.

I just Googled "James Mustain knives" and the first results were his Instagram page and a variety of Youtube and Instagram videos of him and his work, including a few videos of him sanding a blade.

That's weird. I was searching "James Mustain knives" or "James Mustain knife" and nothing came up.

Google is not like the old days. They used to be fantastic for searches. Now they do not give half as much information.

Did you search with quotes or without quotes? If you search in quotes it only looks for the exact phrase and won't show anything.

I searched with the quotes, otherwise it pulls up hundreds of unrelated content.
