I have seen a few Steel Will knives around the interwebs, but not IRL. Does anyone know about these knives or own one they care to talk about?

Steel Will doesn't seem to be talked about much around here.

I picked up one of the Cager series Tanto fixed blades and it is very well made.

I plan on getting some of their folders too.

Hey Last Ditch, I'd been eying a Steel Will Gekko 1500 for a few months and loved how solid the knife felt in hand, incredibly smooth and the lockup is as solid as any knife I own. Always felt it was just a too bit big in hand however, so I held off and didn't buy it.

Last week I handled the smaller Gekko Mini 1552 and absolutely fell in love with the piece. Identical to the 1500, but perfect fit in hand. Also liked the unique maroon colored micarta handle which is different from anything I own.

The 1552 is seen here pictured in the center of my collection.

I am a little late to this conversation.

But a while back, I purchased a Steel Will Druid 265 fixed blade knife. It is made in China and advertised as having 9Cr18MoV. The fit and finish is decent. And it comes with a rather high quality leather sheath. The knife has a full length tang, but not a full width tang. It has a comfortable molded polymer grip with a good feel and balance to the knife.

The Druid 265 could be described as a poormans Fallkniven F1.

Overall I am happy with the quality of the knife and its performance.

I've got 6 Steel Will knives, every one has had excellent fit and finish, and quality is very high. They contract their knives from other makers, the Italian stuff is by Viper, and the Gekko 1500 folder is one of the best folders I have.

I've got:
Gekko 1500
Gekko 1510
Gekko 1503
Argonaut 800
Chieftain 1620
Onrush (For sale, but only due to not being as southpaw friendly as the Gekko series)
