It might be that elusive stainless steel.

It is similar to a knife marketed by Outdoor Edge and probably yours was made in China.

Mossy Oak knives are cheap chinese made Walmart type knives. I think they may be made by The same company that makes the Browning knives out of China. Some of their blades are rebrands of other chinese made knives.

The steel is probably legendary Surgical Stainless, or even the awesome 440shmee.
