Anyone get a 2014 070 Thug yet? The Flat Ground Thugs are arriving!

WooHoo! Mine is waiting for me. Just gotta get home before the wife does. Come on twin turbo F150

Mine still says departed Spokane:grumpy:

Just wait, when they update, it will have traveled through a bunch of states!!

Mine arrived an hour ago too... I had just enough time to hide it from the "better half" and get a few pbotos....hahahahha

So where are all the pictures... ;)

Here is one..... I had to go to town, and the 3g service is failing with photobucket uploading....

IT IS FLAT :) :) :) :)

Ignore the bits of fluff stuck on the blade... it came nicely oiled, and I had no time to wipe the fluff bits off before the photo

Here is another one, but the rest will have to wait until tonight.... hopefully Badhammer snaps some photos when he gets home ;)

They could have named it "Crazy Sharp Bastard" instead of "Thug"..... hahaha
I am starting to like the name though...Thug is strangely appropriate for this knife!!

Nice carrot your hanging in front of me Chris, now I am really impatient:D

I do apologize, but at least you know it is flat ground ;)
And its born on date is 6/10/14 so it is a newborn baby.....lol

I also fully intend to shave with ot tomorrow, and will post photos :)

Thanks DC, that's really sweet... How about some pictures of the sheath tooooo...:thumbup::thumbup:

Got home before she did and I'm stoked with everything. Thug is really sweet and it's also flat ground. Made about two weeks ago based on the label. The CSAR-T is super nice. Kind of a Buck Strider look and construction to it. Only issue I have is the put the ball cap I ordered in the box then smashed it down with packing paper so it's pretty mishappen. Oh well, I'll get it straightened out to my liking. Thanks Buck Knives!!!

Yep, I took some, but have to wait until I get to a 4g area, or wifi..... the wifi at the dr office does not let me get on this forum :(

And when I get home, I want to see if a 120 General will fit in the Thug sheath :)
I think that would be awesome!

Did you get the CSAR-T fixed or folding?
I love my fixed one, and want a folding one at some point.

Photos :)

Also got a cap and a 375 grit diamond benchstone.

The box is ENORMOUS

And to celebrate, while in town, I ate this donut :)
Chocolate bar with a piece of bacon on top, and it was delicious!!!
Here it is posing with my 425 ;)

More thoughts and description to come, later when we get home.

Another sheath photo :)

The 120 General indeed fits nicely in the Thug sheath!!!

I am going to use a sheath discount to get another sheath for that purpose :)

I really like these sheaths. Everything about them.
Especially the bonus pocket that can fit a 110, or Marksman, or Alpha Folder, or Leatherman Multitool :)

Wow. Super impressed.

Would love it and buy more Bucks if they offered more flat ground options.

Not really that strange for the USPS. I mail a letter in my town, it goes over a hundred miles to a sort facility and comes back to be delivered 3 days later!!

What drives me nuts(I guess this should be moved to whine and cheese:p) is that it will show at my local depot 2 days before scheduled date, so I figger I'll get it next day, and they still hold it and deliver on the scheduled day. I've had knives arrive on at Thursday early morning and dont get it til monday. Thats aggravating. At least they havent changed the scheduled date..............yet.

I recently mailed.a letter, I was in and hurry put the addresses in the wrong places, so in effect was mailing it to myself.
It made a trip to a town an hour away, then a trip back here.....took 2 days....

The whole UPS routing is odd.... mine went from ID to WA to OR back to ID and then finally started going south to me.....
