I counted my Buck knives last month and I had 99, so I was curious if I would get my 100th knife this Christmas. Well, I got 4. The first one is a pair of Saltwater Splizzers. These are more for work then show. And they are not a knife. I posted a picture of them, the rusted pair of pliers that I use are next to them. I talked to CJ Buck at the Atlanta knife show for about 10 minutes about these pliers / scissors. I am looking forward toward using them along with my new saltwater lures.

Then I got the Walmart set of knives and a new 110. The 110 has the fish symbol and is signed by Chuck Buck. I mentioned to my wife that the last Smokey Knife catalog had the 110 in it where Chuck sighed off on this project before his death. I thought it was nice one of his last knives was about being a Christian and I see she got it for me, what a nice surprise.

So, I guess I have 101 knives and 1 Splizzer.

What did you guys get???

The 110 in the pics had a minor problem, and had to be sent back. Buck is currently making a replacement for me; I'll post pics of it when it arrives.)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Although everyone in my large family knows I like and collect Buck Knives none of them has ever given me one. I have received a few from some of my fellow forum members as a gift but not necessaraly for Christmas.

I guess they figure that because I already have quite a few I don't need any more. That is like saying you don't any more money. What are they thinking.

So I spoil myself and this year is no exception. I purchased a few special Buck Knives within the last month so I guess I did get some for Christmas. Just not by others.

Sorry but I will have to keep their identity a secret for now. I will save them for Armands future Sunday Picture Shows.

Merry Christmas to all and thanks for making this forum what it is.

As usual at this time of year. Too many Buck knives arrived at my house over the past couple weeks. I come up with any excuse to justify buying another one....and another one...you know the cycle...but this is the only one that has really impressed me. Guess it is just the novelty involved. Hard to stop playing with it. First one I've handled. Makes me a little upset on a few I've barely passed up on. Hope you enjoy the few pics I took a little earlier today after it got tis first night of carry and use.

Gedlicks, What did you add to your wonderful collection????Maybe a shinny 935??? Hopefully you scored some fancy old Ivory Buck:D We'll just have to wait for the SPS:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:Still want to see a good picture of this years Ivory WBC 501 on the SPS. That would be great when we do 500's:thumbup:

My lovely wife found me a 4 pin 110, not real great shape but other then the blade should clean up nicely.

I was lucky this year, bought a few Buck's since the first of the month for Christmas. 2 110's in BG42, a 110 in 5160, a 119 in 5160, a 126, a Buck 118BRS, a Buck 692BR, and a gold plated Leek. It was a very good month for expanding the Buck collection.:D

I bought myself a custom 110 with a drop point blade, g10 scales and finger grooves. Nobody buys me knives so I buy them myself. :) although the wife did say she would buy me the new bcci axe coming this spring ;)

Yep I received 2. Father-in-law bought me 120 cocabola. Wife bought me 192. We bought my 16yo daughter a rosewood reaper and my 13 yo son his first 110. My other 2 kids received knives but they chose something other than Buck this time.

I got a brass and cocobolo 309 Companion from my wife, but it's looking like it'll need a trip back home. It's got quite a bit of blade wobble, and the main blade was pretty ground down. It had a bit of a recurve. I like it though, so I'm hoping Buck can fix it up.

I gave my new DP, BG-42 110 to my wife to put under the tree for me.

Hey I got one too! Great knife aren't they?

And I had enough gift cards to get a 124 off Amazon that was talked about in a different thread. I've only seen pics of those so I'm looking forward to it.
