Picked these up for myself

Great score....I've a skinner but not that cool duo set. Boy the Capers sure have went up in price. I guess I should have purchased one years back when I had a chance. On the auction site, the sellers are getting good bucks (no pun, honest) for them. Even pretty well used ones. Irritates me I've overlooked them when I was younger.

My wife got me the trapper gift set from Cabelas. First knives she ever got me. She doesn't know much about them so I've been teaching her about all kinds of knives (and she's been nice enough to fake interest). The one thing she does know is that I love Bucks and trappers. I may not use either one very often, but I doubt the bigger one will ever leave my pocket from now on since it was from her...

Got the fixed blade from my son for Christmas.
I picked up the Stockman and Canoe for myself.
I'm pleased with all of them plus the fixed blade is made in U.S.A.

My dear Mother wanted to get me a knife for Christmas, so here it is. I had been wanting a folding Alpha Hunter with wood scales for a while, but since it is not currently being produced with wood, I found this sweet “like new” one with S30V here on the forum. It is a beautiful and very smooth opening knife. A good companion to my smaller but similar Alpha Dorado.

Got a Silver Creek Fillet knife and used it to slice the Prime Rib Roast I made on Christmas night. Can't wait to try it on some fish!

I posted these in SPS but will post them here also.:) I really racked up this year to be honest. The 120 from the father-in-law and the Vanguard from the wife/ My wife also gave me a Case model92 stockman I picked out.:DSo I was spoiled this year.
