Anyone getting a Sebenza 31

I dunno yet. A Sebenza is going to be my next major knife purchase. If I have the funds, I plan on stopping by Spark's shop in a couple weeks when I'm in Louisville and buying whatever basic model he has in stock. If I miss out over that weekend then it will most likely be well into the summer months before I can get back that direction with time to shop. By then the 31 might be in full swing and the 21 sold out. I'd be happy with either.

My guess is that if I snag a 21 now, then I'll probably be in the market for a 31 by the end of next year. Currently I buy about 3 ZTs a year, so that would work out to two Sebenzas instead;)

I have a couple prepaid for, Micarta inlay, large. Also a Magassar Ebony, large.
I felt them up at BS this year, and as a huge fan of the 21, the 31’s are surprisingly more comfortable for me.
Sidenote, my PJ 21’s arent going anywhere but in my pockets still, and my 21 inlays are just to pretty to give up...so...Im adding the 31’s to the rotation. :)

Also, to reiterate what other have said...it’s still a bushing pivot. 100%

Do not want. I dislike the appearance of the new inlay shape.

If they did an Insingo + damascus version I'd probably get one despite not liking the strange looking new inlay pattern, though.

I'm going to wait until an insingo blade is available, but do plan on getting the large most likely a plain Jane, unless its wide availability causes the inlay 21s insingo's to drop below 300. It'd be a tough call if that happens which to choose would be a toss up.

Exactly the same here, only I prefer the small one.

My small 21 dp has served me soooooo well for the 5+ years I've owned it and this gives me the chance to try the canted clip, ceramic interface and the insingo blade style all at once!

Hope we see some insingo 31 action in 2020!

:cool::thumbsup:

Absolutely intend to. Newer to the knife world but I have already grabbed two Mnandis and am obsessed with them. Plan to make my first Sebenza a 31 with either Macassar Ebony if I find one I enjoy or the Black Micarta.

And the large is only bc I have an Inkosi Insingo small. Absolutely infatuated with the Insingo blade shape!

I have the fund and want to give CRK another try but am just not confident I will like it. Agree with an above poster that the ergo is subpar for me. Wood inlay with polished ti looks attractive to me though.

That's totally fine too! So many nice alternatives to the Sebenza so to each their own. It's nice having options to rotate out and into.

So has anybody gotten one? I’m thinking of getting one myself, and was curious to see people’s thoughts on them.

What is this shop? I'm an hour away in Lexington and would love to check it out sometime.

One Stop Knife Shop
Your GPS will take you straight there no problem.

Finally got to meet Spark face to face last week. Super friendly, super great service. I ended up walking out with a large plain Inkosi with a drop point blade. Could not be happier. I'll be back for sure.

I plan on getting a Large micarta inlay once all the hubbub settles down. I like the new inlay style, might just be enough to bump the inkosi to 2 place.

Had my pre-order from Knifecenter in for the past 4 months on a Small Micarta 31. Hoping these finally ship to dealers soon...

Would love one in Damascus with CF scale and maybe, maybe someday a flipper or spydiehole.
I got the flipper covered by a copper Natrix. Not the same quality but the blade shape is insingoey for sure.
