Anyone going? I know a couple who are besides me, but wondering who else?

I'll be in Solvang
For work, though:(

Do you guys fly into LAX or Santa Barbara Airport?
Just curious......

I think you guys would like The Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez
It's about 10 minutes from downtown Solvang

Hope you guys have fun in The 805!!
Somebody take some pics of the inside for me:)

Trent, with the rain we've received, I am really looking forward to my 90 min drive from the Rock to Solvang. The hills are all green and gold now.

I would like to go, but this event does seem to be quite exclusive due to the entrance cost. $75 is not bad with lunch and dinner included, but I would prefer just having an entrance fee of 20 or less, so I can look without being tied into 2 meals. Nor, would I want to take up a slot for someone wanting to purchase. I probably could not afford any of those customs, but it would be nice to look at them. Enjoy the show everyone! Please someone takes pics and post once the show is done.

Kevin-

Something just occurred to me - am I not correct that, when it comes to the San Diego AKI, it's a bigtime violation of the rules for any invited maker to show images to anyone of the knives he or she is taking?

Did this kind of rule not make it into the Solvang "rulebook"?

Bob Betzner

Bob, I'm not sure that rule applies to Solvang. A dealer friend of mine sent me a list of and pictures of knives a maker plans on having at the show. The maker sent the list and pictures to him and to others, I assume.
