Anyone gold pan? What pan do you use?

Shoot, I wish I could come down to the deserts there! Get a pan, go find gold! One thing I used to do was use the detector to find concentrations and fill a couple buckets then take them home for panning later. Much more comfortable than hunched over a creek bed.

Years back they did find gold in NE PA but only a small amount and a few hundred feet down !!!

I've seen those, never used one.
The fact that they're 10X more expensive than a standard pan puts me off buying one just to try.

Most of the pans I've posted above are in the $10 range; I can spend that much just out of curiosity's sake. But $100... I'd have to try one before plunking down the cash.

They are really simple...guy could diy one with a wooden mold and thermoform plastic. I bought it because I got to try it out at the gold show in the panning tanks first. Sooooo much faster than a regular pan.
