I love this knife , but never see or hear about it on the forum. Anyone have one & what do you carry it in? PICS?

I don't have one but will someday. As it is, i have a plethora of fixed blade EDCs and can't justify another right now.

Do you have one? How does it carry?

I love the Street Beat and will most likely be my next fixed blade. My problem is justifying getting a fixed blade because they tend to get minimal use from me.

I find that a lot of fixed blade users tend to stick with name brands that they've been using for awhile (Busse, Fallkniven, etc). Spyderco just recently started putting more effort towards their fixed blades. I imagine that the majority of Spyderco users buy more folders than anything. These might be some reasons why we're not seeing too many reviews about the Street Beat. However, the reviews that I have seen tend to be very positive.

I have one, love it, use it quite often in the kitchen. Very comfortable in the hand. If I were going to carry it for hunting, I'd get a decent leather sheath made for it, as I think Kydex and similar materials look like they should have Mattel stamped on them.

I've been EDCing a Street Beat for almost a year now (which is a pretty long time for me to carry any one knife). It's a great design and very well made. I even bought a second one to keep NIB in case anything happens to my user. :)

For the last month or so, I've been carrying it horizontally on my belt in a cross-draw position at the front of my body. (Tried taking a pic, but it didn't come out well.) The outline of the knife is mostly hidden under a loose, untucked shirt and, if you tuck your shirt in, the handle and sheath sort of blend in with your belt and don't really stand out.

The stock sheath that comes with the Street Beat really isn't that bad, IMO, but I use a Kydex one from Mike Sastre that's compatible with the mini Tek-Lok.
