Anyone got any info on EASY kuk fighting technique?

I am strong and pretty quick with it already. I can make it hiss through the air, but I want it to whistle.

Ahh, the whistle... I can get a golok or an Everest Katana to whistle sometimes... but haven't succeeded with a khuk yet... I'm sure some practice with my 25" Kobra would make the lighter blades seem easy in contrast.

Imagine how many perps would still be willing to fight after finding a Guy named Leatherface standing in a hallway in the dark in his tighty whiteys screaming and swinging a kukri over his head!

HAHAHAHAHA

I like this move.

Personaly I practice the Latosa school of escrima, its a very flexible martial art, lends its self well to many different weapons. Its simple, quick, and brutaly effective if you are looking for a way to disarm a person without hurting them its not for you if you are looking to end the fight in about 3 seconds escrima is the way to go. Emphisizes ranging and taking angle/distance form your opponant I'm not sue about other styles but in Latosa there are no blocks only attacks that catch your enemies blade on your way to his head or body. Works just as well unarmed, with a knife, a machet/khuk, stick, or sword. I saw a guy practicing with a spear but I personaly havnt tried it yet, I also dont find myself in fights with a spear very often. Just my two bits, not sure where you live so I cant recomend anyone nearby. I recomend Latosa escrima but thats just becuase I like it, pretty much all escrima/arnis will serve you well.

Any of the Filipino martial arts would be helpful. Practice the 12 angles of attack with your khuk to get a feel of how it moves in your hand.

Update:

While playing with some wood, my 16" AK bit me! It didn't even hurt but I needed nine stitches. :/

Left hand, below the thumb.
